EV Roadmap 6 Conference July 30-31
IEEE Oregon has partnered with Drive Oregon for a $25 discount off the full registration fee to the EV Roadmap 6 Conference on July 30-31 sponsored by Drive Oregon, the State of Oregon funded economic development initiative to grow Oregon’s EV industry. The EV Roadmap is a collaborative effort of Business Oregon and Portland State University, and is funded by the US Department of Energy. Drive Oregon will promote SusTech 2013 to its members.
The “EV Roadmap” workshop series brings together Oregon’s early adopters and international experts to inform transportation electrification efforts across the nation. The EV Roadmap series of workshops has established itself as the Pacific Northwest’s premier electric vehicle gathering. EV Roadmap 6 will be held at the World Trade Center in downtown Portland on July 30-31, 2013 and is expected to draw over 100 leaders from industry, government, and universities across the nation. EV Roadmap 6 will explore questions such as:
- What should the public EV charging “user experience” be like? What will a new EV driver expect? How can we give it to them?
- What will drivers and employers expect when it comes to workplace charging?
- What can we learn from other rapid-growth technologies such as mobile phones and ATM banking networks?
- What role do car sharing and other mobility services have in advancing electric vehicles?
